Quirks
Thinks she's too fat (she's actually the right size)
Overconfident about her invulnerability
Story
Heather Knight was born in 1969 in the Suburbs of Los Angeles. She grew up in the nice suburbs, and graduated in the top 10% of her high school class. Her metagenes kicked in when she was in high school, and she became "a flying cheerleader" during her senior year. After graduation, she was recruited by a major NFL team to be their "flying mascot." During one game, she was attacked by THAMF fanatics and discovered she was invulnerable. After her contract with the NFL team ran out, she signed up for Guardian Division work with Supertemps.
She has worked with Supertemps for several years, and they have paid her way through part-time college. She hasn't declared a major yet, and at this rate will never finish. But she's enjoying life.
Campaign Role
As Apex, Heather might be encountered patroling the city, or anywhere Supertemps might send her. She also has good public relations skills, and occassionally visits other Supertemps facilities as a morale booster. Heather might also be encountered on the local college campus, where she could be taking classes.
Personality
Heather is friendly and outgoing. She is overconfident in her invulnerability, and has a great deal of confidence in herself. She likes dogs, but isn't fond of cats or spiders. She plays hard, but works even harder. She doesn't have a steady relationship, but she does have lots of friends.
Abilities
Heather abilties are those of a classic "brick", she has superstrength and superhuman resistance to all known convetional forms of kinetic attack (including energy attacks such as ice, fire, radiation and lasers), but is still vulnerable to disease and poison, and must still breath. Heather can also fly at about 650 mph. However, unlike the classic "brick" she is incredibily intelligent and cultured. She'd rather go to the theatre or a Rock concert than fight anybody anyday.
Battle Tactics
Apex will try to draw the enemies attention away from her companions. Since she has no attack powers, and won't carry a gun, her own offensive abilities are limited. She has studied a little Judo, however, and when necessary will engage a foe in hand-to-hand combat.
Adventure Seed(s)
As a college student, Heather Knight has all the college student problems, including having to do homework and take exams. During mid-terms, a fellow student with too much money and attitude develops a grudge against Apex and accuses her of academic dishonesty. Some how the Player Characters get involved and they have to help her prove her innocence.
