Genocide Minuteman Mark X Robot (codename: Jager)

The Minuteman Mk X in Hero Maker format (2K), generated by Shaughn Killeen (killeens@cadvision.com)

Background: The late 1980's were periods of budget cuts for everyone, including mutant hating and hunting organizations.  Faced with budget cuts, and potential problems with intelligent robots (e.g. Mechanon), Genocide leadership called to it's scientific elite to propose new models of anti-mutant robots that would cost less money and use more conventional weapons and computer brains.

The Mark X, codename: Jager, marks a divergence from the trend of building "bigger and more powerful robots."  Instead, the Jager is smaller than recent models, and uses few, if any, innovations.

Personality/Motivation: None, they are built to serve humans and capture or destroy mutants.

Quote:  "Mutant: surrender or be terminated."

Powers/Tactics:  The Minuteman Mark X possesses only modified conventional weapons.  The left arm is the "weapon arm"; it contains two 10mm machine guns, a taser, and a solid core making it a powerful bludgeon.  The feed mechanism for the 10mm machine guns tend to jam, but an automatic clearing mechanism was felt to compensate sufficiently at reasonable cost (Activation roll).  The robot carries two 3-tube missile launchers clamped it it's back.  It can reach back with its right arm and remove one launcher and wield it like a rifle.

The Mark X has an extensive database of known paranormals, and complex algorithms enabling to analyze new powers and abilities.  While the robots do have the ability to network their computer brains and instantly share information, it was felt that built-in databases would be more durable under real combat conditions.

Appearance:  The Jager is humanoid, about 12 feet tall.  It is clearly robotic, with a large bludgeon instead of a left forearm and hand.  The color patterns vary by controlling base, but urban camouflage is typical.  All have the Genocide logo on the chest and shoulders, and many are further decorated by the local base.
