Real Name: Angelo Sanchez
Origin and Background: Sanchez is a black-latino born in
south-central Los Angeles. He grew up enjoying music, fast cars and
having fun. But he was always a bit more intelligent than his peers
and knew he wanted more out of life. His first pet was a turtle, and
from that his fascination with animals grew. He spent years studying
the martial arts, and his dedication lead him into more training and the
deeper mysteries. It was while on a spiritual retreat that he discovered
his quasi-magical ability to take on the form of any animal.
Combat Tactics/M.O.: He prefers to fight in animal form, using
the natural abilities of the forms to his advantage. When he needs
strength and power, he takes on the form of an ape or gorilla. If he
needs speed, he uses the cheetah. He enjoys flying as an eagle.
Because he lives near the ocean, he is adept with shark and sea lion
forms.
Personality/Character Traits: He is a wild mix of city and
wilderness, and blends easily into both environments. He won't tolerate
cruelty to animals.

Heightened Senses: He has trained his senses to near superhuman levels.
He can hear in the infrasonic and ultrasonic ranges, can see in very low
light levels. Other benefits include +4 v. range modifiers for all senses,
+8% all detection rolls and +4 to INT for all saves to remember something
he has experienced.

Martial Arts: Extensive combat training in ancient secrets gives him
+2 "to hit" in unarmed HTH, -2 to be hit by all attacks that he is aware
of while conscious and mobile, +2 to HTH damage and +10% to all Detection
Rolls.

Transformation (Shapeshift): He can transform into any animal shape
listed in the V&V rulebook. The animal form must be a "real" animal (no
mythological creatures or dinosaurs) and cannot have a weight greater than
10 times his normal weight. His Hit Points and Power do not change. It requires
one action to transform, but none to change back. He can retain the form
indefinitely unless he is incapacitated. When in animal form, he uses all
the creatures attributes with certain modifiers: +10" all movement rates,
+3 damage HTH, +2 to the animal AGL for purposes of AGL saves. He uses
his own AGL for initiative purposes, but uses the animal form's AGL otherwise.
All Martial Arts and Training bonuses still apply and he retains his natural
intelligence. He uses the animal form's ACC bonus or his own ACC bonus, whichever
is higher. Some forms will have additional special powers, at the GM's
discretion. If the animal form's Carry Cap needs to be known, multiply its
weight by 1.964.
