Starflare Passenger Sedan

The Starflare is a common passenger sedan within the Empire. The vehicle has a large and roomy interior, with two terminals connected to the vehicles computer.  It has plenty of trunk space, and slightly over-sized, puncture resistant smartwheels for maximum performance.  It has moderate weight and all wheel drive, so it can handle off-road travel (although, it was never designed for it).

The vehicle can operate for 6.42 hours, and includes a solar panel on the roof.  The solar panel is used mostly to power the electronics and subsystems, and it's output is too small to make a significant difference to the drivetrain.  The power cell is normally recharged by an external source (such as household current, or a commercial recharging station), as it could take weeks for the solar panel to fully recharge the energy bank.

The sensor systems include low light TV with magnification (5x) and radar.  These systems help keep the vehicle and occupants safe under most normal conditions and provide environmental input to the computer to operate the autopilot software.
