The Seraphim are a TL15 race of beings who occasionally meddle in the affairs of less advanced civilizations.  Very little is known about them.  Some of their agents make use of the XP-38.  The bioplastic flesh which covers the mechanical frame is extremely resilient as well as self-sustaining.  It can also be customized to match a wide variety of humanoid exteriors, depending on the particular species to be worked with.  The basic XP-38 has powerful sensor and communications packages, and a few weapons.  Some models have additional components installed in various body structures to provide additional services, depending on the needs of the individual (replace empty space or weapon systems).
