Copyright

United States and International Copyright laws are wonderful things.  This is the Information and Digitial Age here people, the only things of any value are information and ideas.  Without laws respecting and protecting those rights, then creators get ruthlessly exploited and the gap between the rich and the poor grows even faster than it already is (but I won't go off on that topic).

As a site designer, I try to respect the intellectual property rights of others.  You'll notice that I, Sydney, do not use any images or ideas which belong to other people without their express permission.

Patric is a bit more cavalier about using things without express permission.  However, to his credit, he does try to credit where he got his material, and he often does ask the creators' permission before using their work.  He is always willing to promptly remove someone elses work if they ask him to.

Fortunately, most of the creators he borrows from are very lenient and appreciate that he respects their work and doesn't make any money off it.  (Instead, he encourages his readers to buy their material and support them.)

See many images created by talented artists who have given patric express permission to use their work on the patric.net domain.
